The fabulous Villas Atenea form part of Alhama Nature Resort, a complex inside the golf estate Condado de Alhama. Located in the Region of Murcia, this sunkissed area of the South-East of Spain is also close to nature parks, majestic mountains and Mediterranean sandy beaches.

The Golf Course

The Alhama Signature was designed by none less than Jack Nicklaus, the legendary winner of 18 Majors and widely considered the greatest golfer of all times. Designed in American style, with wide fairways, exquisitely shaped greens and a whopping 116 bunkers, it is a fairly long course, almost seven kilometres from the white tees – an exciting walk! It requires a considerable mastery of all the clubs, especially the driver. In other words, quite a challenging course for all types of players.

Throughout the fairways you can enjoy wonderful views of Sierra Espuña, the most popular mountain range in the Region of Murcia. The desert-style landscaping of the course includes large areas of sand covered by autoctonous Mediterranean flora and fauna.
